There is a growing demand in the commercial and industrial air filtration market place to upgrade 2” pleated filters from MERV 7 to higher efficiencies. This new and exciting product will address the great interest Airguard has in improving I.E.Q (indoor environmental quality) while meeting LEED/Green certification (leadership in energy and environmental design @ www.usgbc.org). LEED/Green is a Green Building Rating System that is the nationally accepted benchmark for design, construction, and operation of high-performance green buildings. LEED/Green promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in “FIVE” key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable, site development, water savings, energy savings, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
The NEW DP-Green13 is LEED/Green, “extremely user friendly” and upgrades are possible with no system modifications.
The DP-Green13 product will be constructed with a heavy duty beverage board frame and is offered to the market place in 7 different sizes (16x20x2, 16x25x2, 20x20x2, 20x24x2, 20x25,2, 12x24x2, 24x24x2) at a lower delivered cost to the CLC Air customer base compared to current competitive offerings. These 7 sizes will allow Airguard to supply over 90% of the existing applications without system modification.
The NEW DP-Green13 will be attractive to all commercial properties and very attractive to those seeking I.E.Q, LEED/Green sustainable components and energy savings.

The best just got better……..Airguard announces the improved DP 40 and DP Max pleated filters. DP 40 and DPMax filters are now a mechanical MERV 8 performance before and after a conditioning step. They now have lower initial resistance to promote energy savings, are made with 100% synthetic fibers, have a new diecut with twice as many contact points between the diecut and media for a more rigid filter, and a stronger adhesive with improved bonding characteristics when used with synthetic media.
Airguard DP pleated filters are extremely versatile allowing installation in virtually any type of application or air handling system. They are widely used in built up filter banks, central station air handlers, rooftop units and side access housings. DP pleats are commonly used as prefilters to protect and extend the life of the final filter in a housing unit. The use of a prefilter is highly recommended as the easiest and most economical way of improving filter performance.

"If the studies are accurate, we have a no-regrets method to reduce energy use in buildings by 10 to 40 percent, solely by improving building operations. All we have to do is communicate and educate more effectively. It is our duty. We are pledged to deliver ASHRAE's promise of sustainability, and to do that we must maintain to sustain, we must train to sustain, and we must influence the operation of our buildings to conserve energy."
Shane Tincher's comments: What do YOU do to deliver on this promise in your area?

In the midst of the media frenzy over our current economic condition, it recently dawned on me that those who are experts will no doubt survive any recession. People who become experts in their fields have harnessed the power of precision.
When customers and employers are hit hard in the wallet they become extraordinarily discerning about where they place their dollars. They become highly selective both in terms of what area they invest in and who they invest in. They develop a laser focus about only going after the type of people they absolutely need.
I think it's time, especially in such a tough economic period, for us to step off the train of constant activity and make real progress toward becoming true precisionists within one area of focus.
Shane Tincher's comments: what does this mean to YOU?

The Housing Design consists of a three section field assembled unitary base device complete with intake weather hood and custom transitions to mate with air handling equipment. A total of five side access housings are incorporated into the component. A V-Bank pre-filter section with metal mesh filters, two second stage ASHRAE side access filter sections sized for 65% extended surface bag filters and two final filter side access housings set up to accept a one inch header final filter. Airguard’s Legacy filter was specified as the final filter due to the advantages associated with the low initial differential pressure and MERV 15 efficiency rating. Final assembly measured 71” wide x 107” high x 144” long. This housing is one of the largest unitary filtration housings ever designed and produced by the Airguard Sales Team.
